Learn strategies to support your child’s reading at home. Take home a free resource package including a book, word cards and fun literacy games.

Sessions will be offered at elementary schools for parents/caregivers of kindergarten and grade one students during Family Literacy Week, January 27th to 31, 2025. Your child will bring home a registration form for you to complete and return to the school.

For those unable to attend a daytime session, there will be an evening session Tuesday, January 28th, 6PM at the Merritt Library. To register for the evening session, please email literacymerritt@gmail.com (by January 24, 2025).
